Powered by CryoSense

Our athletes and physically active members use our Cryo therapy to significantly speed up their recovery process and get right back in the gym or on the field, court or golf course!  Specifically, our Cryo therapy increases cellular regeneration and reduces inflammation, which leads to quicker muscle recovery and injury prevention.

This advanced Cryo therapy is used by the world’s elite athletes and military operators, including the majority of NFL, NBA and NHL teams, the US Navy SEALs, the U.S. Olympic Committee, many elite NCAA programs and members of challenging fitness regimes like Cross Fit, Tough Mudder and Iron Man.  Mark Stephenson, CEO of Rejuvenate, has personally worked in the field with many of these groups, including the U.S. Navy SEALs and Army Special Operations and Olympic, NFL, NHL and NCAA athletes.

Health & Wellness Restoration

Wellness centers, chiropractors, physical therapists and acupuncturists are learning the benefits of Cryo therapy.  Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) specifically, is an ideal treatment because it is whole body, holistic and non-invasive.  Clinical studies have shown immediate benefits to soft tissue, internal organs, the nervous system and energy meridians.  Cryo therapy can aid in relief of the following:

  • Fibromyalgia
  • Chronic fatigue syndrome
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Immune system improvement
  • Osteoporosis
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Phantom pain
  • Chronic pain syndrome
  • Ankylosing sponylitis
  • Delayed onset muscle soreness
  • Central nervous system disease
  • Degenerative disease of joints & spine
  • Inflammation of tendons, bursa, & joint capsules
  • Inflammation of the spine
  • Muscle pain & inflammation
  • Depression & mood disorders

Athletic Performance & Recovery

Recent research involving athletes and the military’s special operations community have given a resurgence of Cryo therapy in sports.  Competition success is dependent upon their body’s ability to train & recover in order to outperform their competitors.  Cryo therapy provides one of the most effective & convenient treatment that gives these athletes a competitive advantage.  Many Sports Medicine departments are beginning to use WBC with their athletes. Rejuvenate Active Recovery Centers is excited to bring WBC to athletes & non-athletes alike, which can help in the following:

  • Decreases muscle soreness, pain & inflammation
  • Reduces delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS)
  • Increases energy & peak athletic performance
  • Allows for immediate post-therapy sports activity
  • Allows more intense & higher volume training
  • Boosts lymph draining & blood circulation
  • Improves muscle strength & joint function
  • Hastens faster return to sports training
  • Decreases injury
  • Shortens recovery time
  • Improves immune system
  • Decreases fatigue

How It Works

Rejuvenate uses the industry’s leading Cryo technology by CryoSense.  The body is first rapidly cooled, in a Nitrogen-cooled cryogenic sauna for a limited amount of time, and then allowed to reheat back to its natural state.  This process stimulates receptors, activating a central nervous system response and causing a release of endorphins.  As the body reheats itself after the session, there is an increase in cellular regeneration, driven by this new supply of oxygenated blood circulating through the body, and a decrease in inflammation, caused by clearing toxins, lactic acid and metabolic waste.  Many notice an after-burn effect in which they metabolize additional calories.

Do not use this technology if you have or may have any of the following conditions: pregnancy, untreated Hypertension (BP ≥ 160/100) according to American Heart Association, acute or recent myocardial infarction, unstable angina pectoris, arrhythmia, symptomatic cardiovascular disease, cardiac pacemaker, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, venous thrombosis, acute or recent cerebrovascular accident, uncontrolled seizures, Raynaud’s Syndrome, fever, tumor disease, symptomatic lung disorders, bleeding disorders, severe anemia, infection, claustrophobia, cold allergy, age less than 18 years (parental consent to session needed), acute kidney and urinary tract diseases.  If you have any other injury, illness or medical condition you should consult your physician prior to using cryotherapy.
